The episode is unusually long for a review episode, which we blame on a) having a guest, b) this being a fandom classic, and c) us trying out a new format for the reviews :). Let us know what you think!

  1. Fog does do that where I live. Sorry! So the fog moving like that made sense to me.
I was still excited that Siddig was on Merlin! His character was pretty cheezy but I didn’t care. It was Dr Bashir!
Romans used oil in their lamps so they might have had oil available since that technology wouldn’t have disappeared. Plus alcohol is pretty darn flammable and I’m sure they had lots of that.

This is one of my favorite episodes. I love the dynamics of all the characters. 😀

  2. This is the first episode review I listened to, but I will now definitely be listening to more. I love how these are structured and how you talk in detail about the characters, little scenes/moments, commentaries, and plotline. Also, Connor is a really funny guest! I love his comment on how Gwen sent an urgent note to Arthur that Merlin “said it was swordy”!
