  1. I am terrible with tagging. I never know how to do it. 🙁

I loved Colin in All My Sons, even the crying. Plus I do love stage better than movies. To me, it’s more visceral. As for All My Sons, I was watching Sally Field a LOT. I went to the play because of Colin but I was very excited about the other actors. 😀

  2. Hello! I love your podcast and I’m sorry I’m so lazy about commenting on the actual website, but I’m doing this first one here in case anyone else listens and comes here for an answer about TLATD.

Momo mentioned that they didn’t realize there was information released about TLATD post-series finale. Here is a link to Ashley Pharoah’s (one of the writers of the show) informal mini Q&A on twitter where he answered a lot of questions about the show once it was officially confirmed as cancelled. https://twitter.com/AJPharoah/status/871021820388024324?s=20
One of the main things was that (SPOILERS if you haven’t watched the series yet) Nathan was framed for her murder and he ended up being executed. Me, personally, I’m quite glad we didn’t get a second series, because I don’t think my heart could have taken seeing another of Colin’s characters go through so much pain and die, which I believe is similar to what y’all said Elirwen said on the podcast about S2. Just wanted to share that link in case anyone was interested.

Also, I have to say that I agree with your opinion about Colin’s performance at the end of All My Sons, Momo. I’ve been a long time Colin fan and will rave to anyone about his talent, but the crying scene at the end was really so underwhelming to me. I was disappointed because everyone who had seen it in person was raving about it, and his crying scenes are one of the reasons I really love his acting, particularly with how emotional Merlin was allowed to be as a male character. He’s just so damn good at crying his little heart out but I felt nothing with the end scene of AMS, and I thought I was in the minority. However, I did feel a lot of emotions when he was crying while confronting his father – I couldn’t believe how wet his face was. That was pretty amazing.

I’m realizing now that I should probably take notes or something (although it’s hard because I listen to y’all while driving) because there was something MissSnowfox said that I wanted to agree with, and now I can’t remember what it was 🙁

Anyway, thanks for all you both do for the fandom with this lovely podcast and keeping the interest alive! <3

  3. I totally agree about the actors not having to come to stage door. Their job is to act. Going to stage door is their gift to us. We can’t demand that. And honestly, I would never come to the stage door and said “I had to fly half across the world and it was really hard and I would totally totally love to meet this actor” because that would be emotional blackmail.

  4. Hi! To point out on the show’s/producers’ thoughts on Merthur, I think many of them ship Merthur? This is especially shown in the episode commentaries (Katie in The Moment of Truth, Katie in Fires of Iridsholas, and Julian Murphy in Diamond of the Day pt. 2). Julian even talks about the “homoerotica” in the finale. I think Colin is a little conservative in adding to this, though (seen in The Moment of Truth commentaries).
